U.S. Agency Seizes Domain Names - A unit of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has seized more than 70 domains "in one the broadest actions yet against companies the government suspects of selling counterfeit or pirated products."

.AU Registry Seeks Input On Domain Policies - auDA, the Australian domain name administrator, is seeking public comment on "a range of policies relating to the management and operation of the Internet in Australia." One of the key issues being considered is whether or not the restriction on registrants being Australian remain in place. A position paper indicates support for keeping the restriction.
