CIRA Election Continues Until Wednesday, September 28 - Voting in CIRA's 2011 Board of Directors election continues until Wednesday, September 28 at noon (ET). CIRA members are encouraged to vote, and will elect four directors.

CIRA Launches Internationalized Domain Name Consultation - CIRA has launched a consultation on Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs) in the .ca domain. Under consideration is allowing accented characters as used in French to be valid in .ca domain names. As well as accepting submissions on the proposed policy, CIRA is conducting an online forum, and a spirited discussion is under way. The consultation closes on December 13.
