As sponsor of the 2009 New Ventures BC Competition, Webnames.ca would like to congratulate all the companies short-listed to Round 2.
The 172 companies will be required to complete a five-page submission by May 27th at which time the list will be short-listed once again to 30 companies.
About the Competition
The New Ventures BC Competition helps turn technology-based business ideas into profitable companies. The competition gives business start-ups and companies the opportunity to: learn from in-depth seminars; network with business leaders; meet experts and mentors who can help take make ideas come to life; and develop a business plan to attract financing.
The competition consists of four rounds of increasing complexity and commitment with teams being eliminated after each round. The first prize package worth over $100,000.
