Webnames.ca StaffAs a sponsor of the BCIC – New Ventures BC Competition, Webnames.ca would like to congratulate all the companies who have qualified to proceed to Round 2 of the competition.
Round 1, called “The Idea” ended on April 23rd, 2013, with 142 companies qualifying and progressing to the next round. The companies this year are as diverse as last year’s batch, with different companies coming from different backgrounds and industries.
The next step for these companies is submitting a 5-page business report answering specific questions targeted at their idea. BCIC judges will then choose the top 15 ideas to advance to Round 3. An additional 25 competitors will be paired with a mentor in order to prepare them for a pitch and presentation to a panel of judges.
