.kids Sunrise Registration Phase | August 11, 2022 to September 14, 2022 | USD $295
This phase is reserved for registered trademark holders that have Trademark Clearinghouse validation. Registrations in this phase occur on a first-come, first-serve (FCFS) basis. If you have a registered trademark, but no TMCH validation, the Webnames Corporate team can assist in getting you enrolled in order to complete your .kids registration during this phase.
.kids Community Sunrise Registration Phase | September 20, 2022 to October 19, 2022
This phase is reserved for non-profit and charitable organizations working in child welfare, education, rights, wellness and other areas championing the health and well-being of children. Registrations in this phase occur on a first-come, first-serve (FCFS) basis. To register during this phase, contact Webnames Customer Support directly.
.kids Pioneer Domains Phase | October 19 to November 29, 2022
This phase aims to encourage active and positive usage of the .kids domain, as well as the development of relevant and robust content for .kids domain names. Those who wish to register during the Pioneer Phase are required to submit a brief proposal of less than 200 words confirming that the domain will adhere to the .kids Guiding Principles and make active use of the domain within 60 working days. .kids General Availability | Starts November 29, 2022 | USD $45
Beginning Tuesday, November 29th, anyone can register a .kids domain name in real time at Webnames.ca.
Webnames will be accepting .kids domain pre-orders in advance of General Availability. All pre-order domains are submitted instantly to the registry as soon as General Availability commences, increasing your chances of a successful registration. Pre-ordering is not only more efficient than trying to register manually, it’s also risk-free – if your .kids domain isn’t successfully registered, you won’t get charged.
