The Webnames Referral Program just got a major upgrade! We love our customers and we want to show our appreciation to them for referring their friends, family and colleagues to Webnames.ca. Now when you refer someone to Webnames, you both get CAD $50 to spend on purchases or renewals when your referral signs up and makes their first purchase.
Here’s How Our Refer-A-Friend Program Works
Log Into Your Webnames Account
Log into your Webnames account and go to the dashboard to find your referral code.
You can find the code that is unique to your account by clicking on the Referral Program “Get Started” link under the Account Management block on your dashboard.
Share Your Code
Share your code with friends, family and colleagues by one of two ways:
- Have your referred friend use your unique Referral ID URL to open a new Webnames.ca account.
- Have your referred friend use your unique Referral ID as a coupon code when they complete their first purchase of CAD $20 or more on our website.
There are options for you to click on to share the link on social media, or through email.
This option automatically shares the Referral ID URL. You can also share your Referral ID code to use as a coupon code by posting it on your social media accounts, through email, text message, or however else you’d like to share it!
Redeeming Your Refer-A-Friend Code
Your friends can redeem their code for CAD$50 off their first purchase of CAD $20 or more by simply clicking the Referral ID URL link you sent them. 
Their $50 will automatically be applied to their cart once they have created their own Webnames.ca account and their purchases reach the designated amount.
If you have sent out your unique Referral ID code, your friends can put their purchases in their cart and then enter the code by clicking on the “Have a code?” link near the total box on the left-hand side of the screen. A box will pop up prompting them to enter the code to apply to their order. The code will work once their purchases total $20 or more.
Terms of Program Use
Only new customers can redeem Referral ID codes from Webnames.ca for a discount on their first purchase of CAD $20 or more. If the full $50 is not spent in the initial purchase, the remainder will not stay on their account as a credit to use later.
New customers cannot start accumulating credits until they have made their first purchase and have started sending out their own unique Referral ID code to their friends, family, and colleagues. Once you start to accumulate credits, you can apply them to purchases or renewals and the remainder will stay on your account.
Track Your Referrals
You can easily track the performance of your referrals on the Referral Tracking section of your Webnames Dashboard. Every time someone redeems your code, you will accumulate a $50 credit that can be used towards new purchases or renewals. You will be able to view the user, credit and date your code was claimed.
