.CA Registry Launches One Million Domain Countdown – The Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) has launched a campaign to celebrate the registration of one million dot-ca domain names, with the milestone expected in April. The campaign website onemilliondomains.ca features dot-ca facts, a trivia challenge, and profiles on a number of dot-ca sites.

.XXX Domain Proponent Loses FOIA Suit – ICM Registry, the company backing the .xxx domain application which was rejected by ICANN in 2007, has lost a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against U.S. federal agencies. ICM Registry had been attempting to obtain additional government information which had been withheld by the State and Commerce Departments.
