Last night, our business development manager, Robbie Dakin, attended a very inspiring event: the FWE e-series 2009 Graduation. He had the chance to network with these incredibly hardworking women and discover the unique products that they have created and brought to market.
The Forum of Women Entrepreneur’s e-series is a six-month training program for women entrepreneurs who own high-growth businesses. Up to 15 women are chosen to participate in the program each year. According to FWE, “The mission of e-series is to provide female entrepreneurs educational exposure to successful business persons and professionals, enhancing their ability to take their company to the next level.”
Our own COO, Cybele Negris (a 2003 graduate of the e-series) is a FWE Board Member, Chair of the e-series Program and was the evening’s keynote speaker. She spoke about the enormous benefits of being a graduate of the e-series program and member of the FWE. She attributes much of her networking, public speaking and entrepreneurial strengths to the mentorship and training she received through the FWE.
