The Canadian Internet Registration Authority’s (CIRA) Board of Directors is seeking individuals from across Canada to apply to fill five open positions on its Nomination Committee. Canadians with committee experience and/or an interest in technology or the Internet are encouraged to apply.
What is the role of the Committee?
The Nomination Committee plays a critical role in soliciting and selecting qualified candidates for the Nomination Committee Slate of CIRA’s Board of Directors Election. Its focus is to help build a Board of Directors that represents a wide range of views and interests, ultimately contributing to the strategic direction of .CA and Canadian Internet policy.

• Serve a two-year term with the objective of building a Member-elected Board of Directors that represents a wide range of views and interests.

How do I apply?
Interested individuals are invited to submit their application between January 14 and January 31, 2013 at 6 p.m. ET.
CIRA’s Board of Directors will review all applications and select the new Nomination Committee members in February/March 2013. Selected applicants will be contacted directly.
