The Next 36 is preparing the next wave of Canadian entrepreneurs

What originally started as a course taught by volunteer professor Reza Satchu, The Next 36 program has quickly evolved into becoming Canada’s top entrepreneurship program. Championed by some of Canada’s top business names and founded by some of Canada’s top entrepreneurs, the program uses its extensive resources to identify top entrepreneurial talent at the university level, and seeks to guide their growth over the course of the program.

From their website:
“The goal of The Next 36 is to increase Canadian prosperity by developing Canada’s next generation of high impact entrepreneurs.”

Started by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs, The Next 36 provides a series of life-changing experiences to young Canadians with the potential to build and lead great organizations.

Each year, the program conducts a nation-wide search to find 36 candidates. The rigorous selection process selects candidates from a wide variety of academic disciplines and Universities across Canada. For eight months, the young entrepreneurs build a business together in teams of three. During the program’s duration, they are mentored by some of Canada’s top business leaders, investors and executives. Additionally, they receive up to $80,000 in funding and academic instruction from some of the world’s top faculty. To further enhance the experience, candidates are pushed out of their comfort zones to gain skills deemed vital to entrepreneurs and global leaders.
