CIRA’s Nomination Committee To Seek Applications – Starting on Wednesday, May 8, the CIRA Nomination Committee will be calling for qualified individuals to be put forward as possible candidates for this year’s CIRA Board of Directors election. The Committee will select a slate of candidates from which the Members will elect three Directors this September. The deadline for applications is Thursday, June 6.
Draft of ICANN New gTLD Registry Agreement Posted – ICANN is seeking comments on a revised draft of the New gTLD Registry Agreement. The agreement will be the contractual document between successful New gTLD Applicants and ICANN. Comments are being sought until May 20. Included in the comments to date are two submissions from Verisign strongly critical of provisions under which ICANN may amend the agreement.
