The “Domain Explosion” has begun! On November 26th, 2013, the first seven (7) new generic Top Level Domain (gTLD) extensions will open:
- .BIKE
- .CLOTHING
- .GURU
- .HOLDINGS
- .PLUMBING
- .SINGLES
- .VENTURES
The first 60 days is a “Sunrise Period” exclusive to Trademark Holders.
Non-trademark holders will be able to pre-book for the General Availability phase which begins on January 29, 2014.
Sunrise Period – November 26, 2013 to January 24, 2014
Trademark holders that want to protect their names in any of the seven extensions during the Sunrise Period need to validate their trademark through the Trademark Clearinghouse (TMCH).
Trademark validation may take up to 34 days so ACT NOW before the Sunrise Period ends!
Early Access Program & General Availability – January 29, 2014
The subsequent phase will be open to everyone and registration of domain names will be on a first come, first served basis. More information about these phases will be available soon.
In the meantime, we recommend pre-registering for free and we will let you know as soon as these phases are available!
