Worldwide Domain Name Registrations Surpass 200 Million – At the end of the third quarter of 2010 there were almost 202 million domain name registrations worldwide, according to the latest Domain Name Industry Brief published by VeriSign, representing a growth of 13.3 million or 7% year-over-year. Registrations from the ccTLDs stood at 79.2 million, a 2.4% annual increase. The ten largest domains are: .com, .de, .net, .uk, .org, .info, .cn, .nl, .eu and .ru.
