The State of Kentucky has filed a lawsuit against a number of online gambling sites. On September 26 a judge declined to order 141 domain names forfeited to the state, and scheduled a hearing for October 7.

Norway’s .no domain has surpassed 400,000 registrations.

ICANN has posted the schedule for its meetings to be held Nov 2-7 in Cairo.

VeriSign has sent the U.S. Department of Commerce a proposal for signing the root zone. (As posted in the Internet Governance Project blog.)

The agenda and presentations from the DNS Operations, Analysis, and Research Center Workshop held September 24-25 in Ottawa.

Delta T Corporation has won a dispute over bigassfans.ca.

TEAC Corporation and TEAC Canada Ltd. have won a dispute over teac.ca.
