Webnames.ca has launched the alpha version of “Hornet”, the .TEL address book application
for Blackberry® Smartphones. Hornet is designed to easily manage and use .TEL names. When a .TEL name is entered into Hornet, all of the contact details are instantly downloaded.
When your friends update or add new contact information, the updates are immediately propagated and can be seen on your Blackberry® when the .TEL name is refreshed.
Next time you meet someone, ask them what their .TEL name is and just enter it into Hornet. You will never have to exchange paper business cards again!
Access to personal data can be limited by marking it as private and electing to share it only with people you authorize and is supported in the Hornet application.
