Webnames.ca is always striving for excellence and excellence starts with excellent people! We are delighted to introduce one of our new interns, Angel!
Angel has been interning with Webnames.ca since the beginning of February with three other interns; Justin, Graham, and Arti. We sat down with Angel for a Q & A session and to tell us about himself and his experience at Webnames.ca.
Tell us a bit about yourself:
My name is Angel, and I am originally from Mexico. I have a BA in International Marketing, and have been involved for over 10 years in outbound B2B marketing, dealing with advertising agencies, and business development.
What did you find interesting about the internship at Webnames.ca?
The workplace is absolutely amazing, and I am delightfully surprised of the feedback that clients express about the company. I am really grateful to have an internship opportunity with Webnames.ca.
What do you do at Webnames as an intern?
I started on February 6th and came to Webnames.ca to work with the Corporate and Managed Services team to provide support for our corporate clients. I have working on Domain Name Audit Reports to help Webnames.ca clients protect their brands and trademarks, further improvements to the domain brokerage services, and I’ve written e-letters for corporate clients and a couple of blogs, one of which has already been posted!
I am currently designing an inbound marketing strategy to inform our corporate clients about pre-registering for new generic top-level domains (gTLDs) through Webinar series. Brand owners will learn the newest trend in the internet and how to protect their brands through the Trademark Clearinghouse during the explosion of new gTLDs.
What will you take with you from your time here?
I look forward to continue learning about this fabulous industry and about inbound marketing tools that I am building into my professional experience.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like go skiing to Grouse Mountain!
Welcome to the Marketing Team Angel! We are happy to have you here and we appreciate all of your hard work!
