JuliannaWe’re pleased to announce that Cybele Negris, Webnames.ca’s Chief Operating Officer has been named as a nominee to the 2007 YWCA of Vancouver, Women of Distinction Awards, in the Entrepreneurship category.
The award honours women whose activities and achievements contribute to the well-being and future of their communities. The criteria requires that candidates inspire others and achieve outstanding success by: being a leader and role model; breaking new ground or old barriers; participating actively as a volunteer, guiding, supporting and encouraging the development of others; showing vision, creativity and initiative; making a sustained commitment and significant difference; and being respected by her community for her contributions.

I can’t think of anyone more deserving than Cybele. I’ve known Cybele for more years than I’m sure we’d like to admit, and she has always inspired and impressed me with her amazing abilities. I am truly honoured to say I’ve been her colleague, but even more importantly, I call her a dear friend. She’s all that AND a bag of chips!!!
